HTML or Hyper Text Mark-up Language is a programming language used in creating web pages information and components to be displayed on a web browser. The language was discovered during the 80s by physicist, Tim Berners-Lee. He, during 80s and early 90s, experimented with and improved the language to be used for web browser. HTML tags, as the commands used in the language are generally known as, became publicly available during 1991. Since then HTML has remained the most widely used language for creating web pages.
